I use photography as a means to document the world around me, as well as a means of self-expression.  Being a lampwork glass artist, melting molten glass into beads and flowers, lead me to my little obsession with photography.  Being able to capture the color, shape and textures of flora has allowed me to improve as an artists.  My goal is to make photographs that will draw viewers into the complexity of nature, and to find an unexplored world hidden in its beauty.
